Pending change: ITV plc has agreed to sell its Media & Entertainment division to Sky, a Comcast subsidiary, in a transaction expected to complete in the second half of 2027 and subject to shareholder, Ofcom, and CMA approval. Press Gazette reports that, under that transaction, ITV's 40 percent shareholding in ITN would be split equally between Sky and the separated ITV Studios. As of this entry the transaction has not completed, and ITN's shareholdings are unchanged. See the ITV plc and Comcast Corporation entries in this database.
