Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ) is an open-access digital platform that aggregates and publishes peer-reviewed academic journals from Iraqi universities, research institutions, and professional associations. It serves as a centralized national repository for Iraqi scholarly output across a broad range of disciplines, from medicine and engineering to humanities and law. The platform is hosted under the domain of Iraq's Research and Development Directorate (rdd.edu.iq), affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
IASJ hosts hundreds of academic journals from more than 120 publishing institutions across Iraq, including major public universities such as the University of Baghdad, University of Mosul, University of Basra, and Babylon University, as well as religious and professional organizations. The platform classifies its journals using standard subject taxonomies covering agriculture, archaeology, medical sciences, engineering, law, humanities, and many other fields. Many journals indexed in IASJ are also registered with international indexing services such as DOAJ, CrossRef, Scopus, and Google Scholar.
All content on IASJ is freely accessible without registration for browsing and reading. The platform provides bilingual navigation in Arabic and English. Contact for institutional submissions and technical support is available via the central IASJ email.
