Inland Valley Daily Bulletin is a daily newspaper based in Rancho Cucamonga, California, serving the Pomona Valley and southwest San Bernardino County. It is a member of the Southern California News Group, part of MediaNews Group, which is owned by the hedge fund Alden Global Capital.
Traces to the Pomona Times, founded Oct. 7, 1882. The Times merged with the Pomona Courier to form the Times-Courier in 1884, and later became the Pomona Progress-Bulletin. A parallel line traces to the Ontario Daily Report, founded in the 1880s. Almon T. Richardson, owner of the Pomona Progress-Bulletin, purchased the Ontario Daily Report in 1965. In 1990, Donrey Media merged the Progress Bulletin of Pomona with the Daily Report of Ontario to form the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, with combined circulation of about 90,000. Digital First Media took control of the paper in 1999. After 30 years in Ontario, the paper moved to Rancho Cucamonga in 2015.
No distinguishing individual awards or series specific to the Daily Bulletin were identified in available sourcing; the paper shares reporting, editorials and printing operations with Southern California News Group's other Inland Empire titles.
