Idaho Dispatch is a conservative-oriented digital news outlet covering Idaho state and local politics, government and elections.
Idaho Dispatch was founded and launched by Greg Pruett in June 2020, after Pruett, founder of the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance, sought to offer an alternative to what he viewed as biased coverage from Idaho's mainstream outlets. In September 2022, Pruett transferred ownership to Miste Karlfeldt to focus on other priorities; Karlfeldt ran the outlet with contributors Sarah Clendenon and David Pettinger before returning it to Pruett. In 2025, David Leavitt, a former Idaho state representative for District 25B, purchased the Idaho Dispatch from Pruett and became its publisher, pledging to focus the outlet on local and state political coverage.
Under Pruett's leadership, Idaho Dispatch broke stories on an FBI investigation into the Caldwell Police Department and an investigation into then-Boise Police Chief Ryan Lee; the outlet also produces the video series "Dispatch Direct."
