Houston Landing is a news studio covering metropolitan Houston, Texas. The organization was launched in 2023 with significant support from the Houston Endowment, Kinder Foundation, and Arnold Ventures, which collectively pledged over $20 million in operating funds. The site was developed as a grantee of the American Journalism Project.

Peter Bhatia is founder and CEO. Manny Garcia and Angel Rodriguez are executive editor and managing editor, respectively. Ann B. Stern chairs the board of directors. Founding editor Mizanur Rahman was fired in a staff shakeup in January, 2024.

The publication's goals include accountability reporting and community-centered journalism, reflecting Houston's diverse population. Despite its brief existence, Houston Landing has established itself as an important voice on local issues.
