The Hollywood Reporter, LLC is the corporate entity that publishes The Hollywood Reporter (THR), a digital and print magazine covering the film, television, and entertainment industries, founded in 1930.
Since September 2020, day-to-day operations of The Hollywood Reporter have been handled by Penske Media Corporation (PMC) through PMRC, a joint venture between PMC and MRC. PMRC also serves as parent to Variety, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Vibe, and Music Business Worldwide.
The Hollywood Reporter was founded in 1930 by William R. "Billy" Wilkerson. In September 2020, Penske Media Corporation and MRC announced the joint venture PMRC to combine operations of The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Variety, Rolling Stone, and Vibe. In 2023, The Hollywood Reporter Roma, the publication's first European edition, launched through a partnership with the Italian publisher Brainstore Media.
