The Hellenic Cadastre Digital Map (maps.ktimatologio.gr) is the public-facing geoportal of the Hellenic Cadastre, Greece's national institution for cadastral mapping, land registration, and geospatial data management. The portal provides free, 24/7 online access to cadastral maps, property parcel data, and aerial photography across Greece.
The Hellenic Cadastre (Greek: Ελληνικό Κτηματολόγιο) was established as a legal entity governed by public law by Law 4512/2018, supervised by the Ministry of Digital Governance (since Presidential Decree 3, January 2021). The National Cadastre as a unified information system for real estate was first instituted in 1995. The institution is headquartered at Messogion 288, Cholargos, Athens.
The maps.ktimatologio.gr portal allows users to search for properties by National Cadastral Code (KAEK), regional unit, or geographic coordinates; view cadastral parcel boundaries and property data; access aerial photographs from multiple historical time periods (1945–1960, 2007–2009, 2010–2011, 2015–2016); and track the progress of the cadastral survey process by area. The portal is part of the INSPIRE-compliant Geoportal of the Hellenic Cadastre, which was launched in 2020 and provides access to spatial datasets in accordance with European standards.
The Hellenic Cadastre provides geodetic surveys, topographic mapping, cadastral services, land registration, aerial photography, and satellite imagery. It publishes spatial data through its INSPIRE Geoportal in compliance with EU Directive 2007/2/EC. Cadastral parcel data is periodically updated as boundary changes are registered. The institution also manages the system of Registrations and Mortgages in areas where cadastral surveys are not yet complete.
