Clark Gilbert is the founder of Deseret Digital Media, established in 2009.
Clark Gilbert, after nearly ten years as a scholar at Harvard Business School, he transitioned to a leadership role in the education and media sectors. In April 2017, Mr. Gilbert assumed the role of the inaugural president of BYU-Pathway Worldwide, a global educational entity serving over 40,000 students across more than 50 countries. Prior, Mr. Gilbert was the 16th president of Brigham Young University – Idaho. Before his tenure in educational, he was the President and CEO of the Deseret News. He then established Deseret Digital Media.
Mr. Gilbert began his professional career as a Professor of Entrepreneurial Management at Harvard Business School. His academic work has encompassed various sectors, including healthcare, media, education, and technology. Most recently, he co-authored the book "Dual Transformation: How to Reposition Today’s Business While Creating the Future," which serves as a guide for companies seeking to find future growth avenues. He has also contributed several articles to the Harvard Business Review and Sloan Management Review, focusing on themes of innovation and change, and received the Best Article Award from the Academy of Management Journal.
Mr. Gilbert graduated from Brigham Young University. He earned an M.A. from Stanford and a doctorate from the Harvard Business School.
