Geoportal Philippines (GeoPH) is the official national geospatial data portal of the Republic of the Philippines, developed and operated by the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). It serves as a centralised web-based platform providing access to geospatial data and map services produced by government agencies.
The Philippine Geoportal was conceived as an e-government-funded initiative to build a foundation for the Philippines Spatial Data Infrastructure (PSDI). Its stated purpose was to provide a common infrastructure for geospatial data sharing among all national government agencies, as well as online display and access for broader user communities. The project was launched in 2011 under NAMRIA leadership, envisioned in three development phases covering data, policy and standards, ICT resources, human resources, and communication. The portal supports the principle described by a former NAMRIA Administrator as "One Map, One Nation"—a commitment to a single authoritative spatial reference framework for the country.
Geoportal Philippines hosts authoritative geospatial datasets including topographic maps, orthoimagery, administrative boundaries, and thematic layers for disaster risk reduction, land use planning, infrastructure management, and surveying. The portal offers a Map Viewer and Map Builder, and integrates apps for disaster risk management, tourism, road networks, and infrastructure status reporting. It also supports data download under agreed terms and provides instructions for integrating its layers into GIS software. NAMRIA maintains the standard multi-scale basemaps (including ortho image series from 2011 and 2013–2014) that underpin the portal.
The portal is freely accessible at www.geoportal.gov.ph. Users must agree to terms of use before downloading data; NAMRIA must be cited as the data source. The portal is used by government agencies, NGOs, urban planners, researchers, and the private sector. Data privacy matters are handled by NAMRIA's Data Privacy Officer at dpo.official@namria.gov.ph.
