Use of DataThe National Library of The Gambia, operated by the Gambia National Library Services Authority (GNLSA), is the country's principal public library institution, located in Banjul. It serves as the national repository for published materials relating to The Gambia and provides library services to the public across the country.
The National Library holds general reference and lending collections, Gambiana (materials relating to The Gambia), government publications, periodicals, and materials supporting literacy and education for all age groups. As the national library, it aims to collect and preserve a copy of all materials published in The Gambia.
The library is located on Reg Pye Lane in Banjul and is open to the public. Reading rooms are available for in-person research and reference use.
