Fired But Fighting is an advocacy group and coalition of former and current US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) employees. It was formed in response to the 2025 Reduction in Force (RIF) orders affecting HHS departments and programs under the Trump administration. Its website provides resources for terminated federal workers, including information on legal representation, unemployment insurance, and mutual aid. The coalition has also spoken out at rallies and town halls against budget and staffing cuts at the CDC and has called for Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s resignation. On the NPHC website, it is described as the “resistance arm” of its umbrella nonprofit organization, the National Public Health Coalition (NPHC).
