Biography

Carolyn N. Everson is a business executive with more than 28 years of experience in internet, digital media and consumer-facing companies. She serves on the boards of directors of The Walt Disney Company, The Coca-Cola Company and Under Armour, and has been a senior adviser to the global private equity firm Permira since January 2023. She began her career at Accenture Consulting and Walt Disney Imagineering, then spent seven years at Viacom, where her last role was chief operating officer of MTVN Ad Sales. She was corporate vice president of Microsoft's global advertising sales and trade marketing teams before joining Facebook pre-IPO in March 2011 as vice president of Global Marketing Solutions, later vice president of the Global Business Group, where she led a team of more than 4,000 people across over 55 countries responsible for more than $80 billion in annual revenue and served as the company's primary liaison with major brand advertisers and agencies. She departed Facebook (by then Meta) in June 2021 and briefly served as president of Instacart before becoming an active angel investor and board director.
