Biography

Stuart J. Epstein is chief financial officer of Meadowlark Media, a sports-focused content studio and creator network, and a member of the board of directors of TEGNA Inc., the U.S. television broadcasting company. He previously served as a board member and CFO of DAZN Group, the global live sports streaming service, from 2018 to 2022, and as co-managing partner of Evolution Media, the investment and advisory arm of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in his career he was executive vice president and CFO of NBCUniversal from 2011 to 2014, where operating cash flow grew from roughly $3 billion to more than $5 billion during his tenure, and before that he was global head of the Media & Communications Group at Morgan Stanley, where he helped oversee Comcast's 2009 acquisition of a controlling stake in NBCUniversal. He holds a degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
