Eenadu is the largest circulated Telugu-language daily newspaper in India, distributed primarily in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and published by Ushodaya Enterprises, part of the Ramoji Group.
Eenadu was launched in Visakhapatnam on August 10, 1974, by Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, who had previously founded the Margadarsi Chit Fund (1962) and the farming magazine Annadata (1969). The Hyderabad edition followed in 1975, and Vijayawada in 1976. Ramoji Rao served as chief editor until 2020 and died on June 8, 2024. His son Cherukuri Kiron and daughter-in-law Cherukuri Vijayeswari are among the family's other shareholders in Ushodaya Enterprises.
Eenadu is printed from 23 centers across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, the paper had a circulation of 1,223,862 for the first half of 2022. The Ramoji Group also operates the ETV television network and Ramoji Film City.
