The EdUHK Research Repository (also referred to as the EdUHK Institutional Repository) is the open-access digital repository of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Managed by the EdUHK Library, it collects, manages, preserves, and showcases the research output of EdUHK academic staff in a single searchable digital location.
The Education University of Hong Kong is a publicly funded university in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong. It was founded in 1994 as The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) through the merger of several teacher-training colleges, and was renamed in 2016 when it achieved full university status. It is one of eight government-subsidized universities under the University Grants Committee and the only institution in Hong Kong historically dedicated to teacher education.
The repository provides citation records and, where available, full-text access to books, book chapters, journal articles, conference papers, creative and literacy works, consulting reports, and patents created by EdUHK staff. It also houses an institutional collection that includes programme prospectuses, university publications, and student theses and projects available for open access. The repository includes tools for browsing by individual researcher, research unit, or output type, and is searchable by keyword. It documents the university's research contributions since 1994.
The repository is freely accessible online. Academic staff can self-archive their research outputs directly, and the library team assists with the submission process. Full-text access is provided for most items subject to publisher permissions.
