dCollection at Korea University is the institutional repository of Korea University Library in Seoul, South Korea. It is part of the national dCollection (Digital Collection) consortium, a system of university-based institutional repositories established in 2003 by KERIS (the Korean Education and Research Information Service), a government agency supporting university information systems. The consortium was formed to promote open access to academic research outputs from Korean colleges and universities, and Korea University is among the leading participants.
The repository preserves and provides open access to the research outputs of Korea University, including theses and dissertations, journal articles, conference papers, books and book chapters, and other scholarly materials produced by the university's faculty, researchers, and students. Metadata is harvested by KERIS's Research Information Service System (RISS) to enable federated searches across member repositories.
dCollection at Korea University is freely accessible online. Users can search and download full texts of deposited works at no cost. The repository uses the DSpace platform and complies with Open Access Initiative (OAI) standards, facilitating metadata harvesting by international systems.
