Biography

Eric Dahlberg is a Nevada newspaper editor and publisher with Battle Born Media, a company that has published community newspapers across Nevada since 2011, including the Sparks Tribune, Mineral County Independent-News, Ely Times, Eureka Sentinel, Lincoln County Record and Mesquite Local News. He began his journalism career at the Sparks Tribune while attending the University of Nevada, and serves as the paper's managing editor and as general manager of the Mineral County Independent-News in Hawthorne. He also oversees SCS Life, a monthly lifestyle magazine backed by Battle Born Media and delivered to homes in the Sun City Summerlin retirement community near Las Vegas. His award-winning page and graphic design work for Battle Born Media newspapers has been recognized multiple times by the Nevada Press Association's annual newspaper contest, including a first-place graphic design award for the Sparks Tribune in 2018.
