Biography

Ryan Cooper is managing editor of The American Prospect, where he previously served as a senior editor, and the author of How Are You Going to Pay for That?: Smart Answers to the Dumbest Question in Politics. He was previously a national correspondent for The Week, and his writing has also appeared in The Nation, The New Republic, the Washington Monthly, the Washington Post and Current Affairs. Cooper co-hosts and produces the Left Anchor podcast.
