The Columbia Missourian founded in 1908 is a nonprofit daily broadsheet & website published in Columbia, Missouri. The newspaper, associated with the Missouri School of Journalism and produced by its journalism students, publishes five times a week. The website publishes daily news.
The journalism school started in 1908 and created the Columbia Missourian’s first edition on the day classes began. The Missourian was one of the early newspapers to create digital content in addition to its traditional print editions.
