Angie Coiro

Angie Coiro is a veteran radio host and journalist, best known for her role as the host and senior producer of In Deep with Angie Coiro. With a broadcasting career that began at WETL-FM in Indiana, Angie’s career has taken her to KGU-AM in Honolulu and KALW-FM in San Francisco. In 1990, she joined NPR station KQED, where she reported traffic and occasionally hosted Michael Krasny’s show Forum on Fridays.

Angie’s experience also includes hosting Mother Jones Radio on Air America Radio and later leading her own show on KKGN, which evolved into LIVE FROM THE LEFT COAST with Angie Coiro. Since 2016, Angie has served as the journalist in residence at Kepler’s Literary Foundation (KLF), where she hosts the This Is Now series, recorded live at Menlo College and Kepler’s Books.
