The Times Journal of Cobleskill is a weekly newspaper published every Wednesday covering Schoharie County, New York.
The paper's roots trace to the Cobleskill Herald, first published in 1877. Erwin B. Hard bought the paper in 1885 and renamed it the Cobleskill Times. Charles L. Ryder acquired it in 1919 and merged in the Cherry Valley Gazette and Sharon Springs Record. In 1946, the Schoharie County Journal launched as a companion title, and the two merged in 1955 to form the Times-Journal. The Ryder family published the paper from 1919 until the 1970s. Jim Poole, who joined as a reporter in 1977 and became editor in 1979, acquired the paper with his wife Sandy in 1992.
The paper covers Schoharie County government, agriculture, schools, and community news, and operates an associated commercial printing business, The Printers.
