Biography

Christa A. D'Alimonte is a media and entertainment industry lawyer who serves as chief legal officer of THE·TEAM, a global sports, music and entertainment company, since October 2025. She is a graduate of Princeton University, where she earned an A.B. in politics with a certificate in Latin American studies, and of Georgetown University Law Center, where she was editor-in-chief of the American Criminal Law Review. She joined Shearman & Sterling LLP in 1993 and became a partner in 2001, representing Viacom and other domestic and multinational clients on public and private mergers, acquisitions and corporate governance matters as deputy practice group leader of the firm's global M&A group. She joined Viacom in 2012 as senior vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary, and was elevated to executive vice president, general counsel and secretary in 2017, continuing in that role through Viacom's merger with CBS to form ViacomCBS and later Paramount Global, where she also oversaw human resources, security, facilities and real estate. She departed Paramount in June 2024 after nearly 12 years with the company. D'Alimonte has been recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers USA, Legal 500 and Cablefax, named a "Top Dealmaker" by Law360 and The Hollywood Reporter, and was named a "Wonder Woman" by Multichannel News in 2018. She serves as vice chair of the board of Asphalt Green and is a trustee of Collegiate School in New York City.
