Andrew Carnegie founded this group of religious, political, and academic leaders in 1914 as a response to the impending first world war. The Carnegie Council strives for an ethical future by identifying critical issues, convening experts to find appropriate solutions, create communities, and frame perspectives through broadcasting, publishing, education, and engagement.
