Calgary Tech Journal covers Calgary's technology and innovation ecosystem, publishing a twice-weekly newsletter along with features, profiles and funding announcements. It is published by Overstory Media Group.

History

Calgary Tech Journal launched in 2022 as a sister publication to the Vancouver Tech Journal, part of Overstory Media Group, the Victoria, British Columbia-based media company founded in 2021 by Farhan Mohamed and Andrew Wilkinson. Its reporting has covered a $30 million investment into AI research in Alberta and profiled local entrepreneurs and tech founders. Overstory launched the related Victoria Tech Journal in 2022 as well.
