Use of DataThe Calgary Herald founded in 1883 is a daily broadsheet published in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, by . It is owned by Postmedia Network, which is owned by Chatham Asset Management. The newspaper started as The Calgary Herald, Mining and Ranche Advocate and General Advertiser, was published weekly by Andrew Armour and Thomas Braden. Eventually, with the 1885 addition of editor Hugh St. Quentin Cayley, they switched to daily publication and a name change: The Calgary Herald.
After a few 20th century ownership changes, in 2010, Postmedia Network took ownership of the paper.
