UBC offers a Minor in Writing and Communication

The School of Journalism, Writing, and Media promotes student research in journalism and media, writing, and communication. The programs include courses for undergraduate and graduate studies. A newly-launched Journalism and Social Change Minor that was launched in September 2023 provides students with foundational knowledge in journalism skills, critical thinking and analytical news literacy.
