Brandon Kurisu is president and chief operating officer of aio, a Hawaii-based family of companies with holdings in media, technology, sports, and food, effective April 1, 2023. He oversees aio's media brands, which include HONOLULU Magazine, Hawaii Business, HAWAII Magazine, Hawaii Home & Remodeling, Watermark Publishing, ESPN Honolulu, and CBS1500AM. Kurisu founded aio Digital in 2008 and served as its president, building it into a digital agency providing consulting and creative services throughout Hawaii, including the companies Upspring, Library Creative, and aio Marketing & Communications. aio's founder, Duane Kurisu, continues as chairman, with Susan Eichor serving as chief executive officer. Brandon Kurisu is a graduate of the University of Hawai'i Shidler College of Business and served as president of the University of Hawai'i Alumni Association beginning July 2020. He serves on the boards of Hawaii Literacy, the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council, and the Holomua Collective.
