The Boston Institute for Independent Journalism (BINJ) founded in 2015, is a nonprofit news organization that supports the development and production of independent, unbiased news. BINJ provides support to community publications, trains journalists, and produces independent journalism.
BINJ collaborates and helps with distribution issues with many organizations, such as Alternet, Bay Street Banner, Boston Metro, Boulder Weekly, Brookline Interactive Group, Cambridge Community Television, Cambridge Community Television, Chico News & Review, Coachella Valley Independent, DigBoston, In These Times, KillerBoomBox, Little Village, Marshall Project, Salon, Sampan, The Shoestring, Valley Advocate, and Worcester magazine.
