Berkeley, California (print/digital)
The Berkeley Voice is a community weekly covering Berkeley, California, published as one of the East Bay Times' local weekly editions under the Bay Area News Group.
The Voice has covered Berkeley since at least the 1960s, with archived clippings on local politics, protest movements, and University of California affairs held by the Berkeley Historical Society dating to that period. It became part of the East Bay Times family of publications when that paper was formed in April 2016 through the merger of the Contra Costa Times, Oakland Tribune, and other East Bay titles under the Bay Area News Group, a subsidiary of MediaNews Group.
The Voice covers Berkeley city government, schools, and community life alongside the East Bay Times' other community weeklies, including the Alameda Journal, The Piedmonter, and The Montclarion.
Content is available through an East Bay Times subscription in print and online, with full-text digital access also offered through the Berkeley Public Library's eNewspapers service.
