The Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise is a daily newspaper serving Bartlesville, Oklahoma. It also designs and prints the Pawhuska Journal-Capital, Bartlesville Magazine and Hometown Shopper from its Bartlesville plant, and shares sister Oklahoma publications including The Oklahoman and the Daily Ardmoreite.
The paper traces to the Bartlesville Examiner, founded in 1897 by C.L. McKinney; the current combined title dates to 1958. It was owned and published by Stephens Media LLC until 2015, when Stephens Media's newspapers were sold to New Media Investment Group, parent company of GateHouse Media. In August 2019, GateHouse Media merged with Gannett, retaining the Gannett name; Gannett, publisher of USA Today, remains the paper's owner.
