Biography

Susie Morris Baker is a vice president and director of Morris Communications Company, the Augusta, Georgia-based, family-owned multimedia company founded by her grandfather, William S. Morris Jr., and expanded by her father, chairman William S. Morris III. She previously served as vice president of Morris's Alaska newspapers, with responsibility for the Juneau Empire, the Peninsula Clarion in Kenai and the Alaska Journal of Commerce, and earlier was publisher of the Peninsula Clarion and of Quarter Horse News in Fort Worth, Texas. Her brother, Will Morris IV, serves as the company's chief executive officer.
