Use of DataThe Atlanta Voice is a weekly news entity based in Atlanta, Georgia founded in 1966 that serves the African-American community. The paper's motto is "A people without a voice cannot be heard."
Born out of the need to report on the Civil Rights movement, the paper often featured news regarding Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Atlanta Voice has received the Pioneer Black Journalist award.
