Atlanta Intown is a hyperlocal monthly newspaper covering Atlanta's intown neighborhoods, from Midtown to Grant Park and from Emory to the Westside, with a print circulation of about 27,000. It is published by Rough Draft Atlanta.
Atlanta Intown was founded by Chris Schroder in October 1994 as Atlanta 30306, named for the Morningside zip code it originally covered. The publication and related sister titles were later owned by Nonami Enterprises, then by Springs Publishing, which acquired Atlanta Intown in 2013. Springs Publishing founder Steve Levene sold the company in December 2020 to Keith Pepper, an Atlanta native, who rebranded the group as Rough Draft Atlanta and transitioned it to a digital-first newsroom alongside its monthly print editions. Under Pepper, Rough Draft's share of digital advertising revenue grew from 2% to more than 25% within four years, and the company acquired The Georgia Voice, Atlanta's primary LGBTQ+ media outlet, in December 2024.
