The Association of Alternative Newsmedia (AAN) is a trade group based in Washington, DC, USA. Founded in 1978, AAN is a nonprofit organization that focuses on accelerating member success through various initiatives, always with an eye toward excellent journalism and community engagement. The organization is led by CEO Molly Wilmott. AAN does not have a print edition and does not generate revenue data for 2021 and 2022.
