ARTnews, LLC is the holding entity for ARTnews magazine, founded in 1902 and among the longest-running art publications in the United States.
Penske Media Corporation (PMC) acquired ARTnews together with Art in America from collector Peter Brant in 2018 via the purchase of Art Media Holdings, LLC. The two titles had previously merged in 2015 when Polish company Artnews SA purchased Brant Publications; Brant reacquired a majority stake when Artnews SA went bankrupt in 2016. ARTnews now operates alongside Artforum, which PMC acquired in 2022.
