Use of DataAmerican Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) founded in 1942 is a nonprofit trade association representing about 6,500 members in 38 US chapters , and Members in 22 countries. The society helps its members make business connections, deal with legal issues, and learn how to protect the photographer’s business and work.
ASMP also offers Advocacy campaigns and a legal fund to support photographers in court cases.
ASMP created a Covid-19 Emergency Cash Grant Program, fiscal sponsorship and mentorship programs.
