Alpha Media LLC was a Portland, Oregon-based radio broadcasting company that owned and operated more than 200 radio stations across the United States.
Alpha Media filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January 2021 to address roughly $267 million in debt. Under the restructuring, lenders together with management took ownership of the reorganized company, subject to FCC approval. In May 2025, Connoisseur Media completed its acquisition of Alpha Media, assuming and refinancing Alpha's outstanding debt and adding Alpha's stations to Connoisseur's portfolio under a Local Marketing Agreement that began May 5, 2025.
Alpha Media was formed July 1, 2014, from the merger of Alpha Broadcasting (founded 2009 by Larry Wilson), L&L Broadcasting, and Main Line Broadcasting.
