The Almaden Times is a community newspaper serving Almaden Valley and the surrounding south Santa Clara County, California, owned by Times Media, Inc., which also publishes the Evergreen Times and Willow Glen Times.
Publication began in 1986, and the paper marked its 30th anniversary in 2016 and received a commendation from San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed in 2013 for three decades of community coverage. William Bellou serves as publisher through Times Media, Inc.
The paper covers neighborhood news, local government, schools, and historical and cultural topics for Almaden Valley, including coverage of the New Almaden mining district's preservation efforts.
The Almaden Times is distributed in print at libraries, schools, and community centers throughout the coverage area and published online at almadentimes.com; distribution shifted to online-only during the COVID-19 pandemic before resuming print.
