Use of DataThe Alliance, founded in 1980, sees community media organizations, artists, and storytellers as valued catalysts of revitalization. They sponsor a program for connecting media organizations and artists with youth impacted by the judicial system and previously incarcerated people, called Unlocking Creativity. Youth Media Futures is a program for connecting teaching artists with youth participants.
The Alliance’s goal is to raise media arts influence of media. The Alliance welcomes artists across disciplines, various media nonprofits, and international NGOs interested in a collaboration.
