Use of DataAlessandra Galloni is an Italian journalist. She forged a reputation for incisive business reporting at the Wall Street Journal, covering the 2008 international financial crisis and its aftermath. Joining Reuters in 2013 as a bureau editor, she was promoted to global managing editor in 2015. She was named editor-in-chief of the agency in 2021, succeeding Stephen J. Adler.
Galloni is a graduate of Harvard University (B.A.) and Columbia Graduate School of Journalism (M.A.). She has received numerous awards, including the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service (shared with WSJ staff) and the 2020 Minard Editor Award from the Gerald Loeb Foundation.
Reuters is an international news agency founded in London in 1851 which employs 2,500 journalists in 200 locations around the world.
Alessandra Galloni is fluent in English, Italian, French, and Spanish.
