Use of DataThe Alameda Post is a nonprofit, nonpartisan website. The Post was created in 2022 out of fear that the city of Alameda would become a news desert. According to their mission statement, "The Alameda Post serves the community by reporting current news and information, promoting community groups, diversity, and cultural awareness, and preserving Alameda’s history for future generations." Along with the website, they host a podcast and Alameda history walking tours.
