Use of DataThe CERN Archives facility is a repository for historical records about all aspects of CERN's activities, from the creation of CERN until the present day. The database is freely accessible. Not all items are available for public consultation. Full texts of items in the Wolfgang Pauli Archive are accessible, but not for documents in the main CERN Archives. Many CERN scientific reports are available via the CERN Library database.
To request a document, contact archive.enquiries@cern.ch.
There are two main ways to search the Archives:
The CERN Document Server is a searchable database giving information about files in the archives.
The CERN Archives guide gives an overview of record groups in the archive.
